I had the incredible opportunity to participate in another exciting project called Cajou Cuisine: Cuisiner en famille, c’est miam! at La Cuisine Centre Rockland. This family cooking activity brings children and parents together for a hands-on culinary experience, and I was truly impressed by how many families joined us that day.

My co-host, DJ Abeille, did a fantastic job leading the event. All the children had a wonderful time learning to cook Thai food together. During the activity, I introduced them to making Mango Salad (Yum Mamuang). Children and their parents tried making this dish step by step: roasting peanuts, chopping shallots, peeling mangoes, and mixing the salad themselves. It was such a joy to see them so engaged and proud of the food they prepared with their own hands.

This activity was not just about cooking—it was about connecting families through a shared experience. Seeing the children’s excitement and pride as they enjoyed their homemade creations was incredibly rewarding.

A heartfelt thank you to Christian Bégin for introducing me to this wonderful project, and to DJ Abeille and her warm family for being part of this joyful day and supporting the activity.
